Ellen Timmerman

Ellen M. Timmerman, 82, of Fairfield died at 2:28 a.m. February 4, 1990, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

She was born March 26, 1907, in Wellsville, Mo. to John and Maude Franklin Roppel. She married Orville Timmerman on April 26, 1931, in Mount Pleasant.

She had lived in Henry County before living in Jefferson County for the past 46 years. She was a homemaker and was a member of Birmingham United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Jefferson County Hosptial(err) Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Donald Lee Timmerman of Fort Wayne, Ind., Lester J. of Cedar Rapdis(err), O. Eugene of Dallas, Texas and Charles of Fairfield; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson; three brothers, Jack, Andrew, and Charles Roppel; and three sisters, Myrtle, Linda and Nellie.

The service was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 1990 at Birmingham United Methodist Church in Birmingham, the Rev. Sara Malone and Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial was in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to Birmingham United Methodist Church.
