Madelon P. Weisman

Madelon P. Weisman, 76, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Keosauqua and Fairfield, died Sept. 21, 1990 at AMI Town and Country Hospital in Tampa, Fla.

Mrs. Weisman was born May 17, 1914, in Fairfield, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Simmons McConnell. She grew up in Fairfield and graduated from Parsons College, who died in 1964. They lived in Keosauqua. She later moved to Fairfield. She married Bob Newell, who also preceded her in death. She was a retired school teacher and a Methodist.

Surviving are five sons, David Campbell of Las Vegas, Nev., Richard Campbell of Eldon, Michael Campbell of Libertyville, Norman Campbell of Kent, Wash., Danny Campbell of Fairfield; a daughter, Christine Costello of Philadelphia; a stepdaughter, Anna Lundgren of Santa Rosa,Calif. seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The service was held Sept. 25, 1990 at Turner Funeral Home, in Brooksville, Fla. with burial in Brooksville.
