Richard Charles Nichols, 30, of Eldon died August 19, 1990, due to injuries received in an automobile accident east of Agency.
He was born Nov. 11, 1959, in Iowa City to Harry L. and Evelyn Weeks Williams Sr.
He was educated in the Eldon and Bloomfield areas. He had worked at the Louis Rich Col in Sigourney and was most recently employed by Excel Corp.'s Contract Service Ltd. in Ottumwa.
He is survived by his parents of Las Vegas, Nef.; two grandmothers, Rosie Smith of Eldon and Wanda Williams of Ottumwa; three brothers, George Nichols of Eddyville, Kevin Williams of Ottumwa and Harry Williams Jr. of Las Vegas; and three sisters, Patty Hunt of Fremont, Rosa Archer of Milton and Esther Fine of Moulton.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers.
The service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell-Kremer Funeral Home in Eldon. Burial was in Floris Cemetery.
