I just learned that 3 of my ancestors were placed in the Iowa Children's Home after their mother died in 1909 and their father worked outside Des Moines. There were also 2 sons (Edgar, b. 1894 and George Calvin, b. 1907 who were placed with their grandmother. I am hoping I can get some information on the 3 girls. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
