TOWNE, ELDER

In 1920 census of Creston, Union Co., Iowa, Albert H. Towne (a long time resident) listed wife, CARRIE I., b. 1878, Penn., and her children, John C. ELDER and (Hermace) Madeline ELDER. Carrie Iola (Brunn) had been married first to William A. Elder and was divorced before 1910.

Before 1926, Carrie (and her children) were in Michigan, calling herself Carrie Elder. Did Albert Towne die?
