I am looking for any additional information I can get regarding this family. Gordon F. Gear was born in Vermont 1852 or 1854. I have found him on the Story County 1895 census with most of his children.He is Listed as widowed but there is a 29 year old Vinna Gear listed with him. That was his wife's name; Lovina Banning married in 1876 in Story County. who might this person be?
Also can anyone tell me if there is a Lovina Gear or Vina buried in Story co? yeardss would be of 1889 to 1895. The dates of the last child born to the census period.
Gordon's parents may be John Gear and Sarah MAgenaty, Gordon may have come to Iowa with them. I can't find them either.or any siblings that would be with them.I have very little additional info but can offer it if someone will be so kind to help me. Thanks in Advnce !!! BobbieJo
