My family always referred to great grandmother as Grandma Norton. I never knew her 1st name. My Grandmothers maiden name was Hire. We (my generation)assumed grandma Norton remarried but didn't know the facts. I have a picture with "Grandma Norton and Floyd" written on the back. I'm interested in finding out more about my Hire and Norton ancestors.
