According to a short news item in The Daily Times in Davenport, Iowa on July 9, 1895, Page 2, Dorathea Goellnitz died on July 8, 1895 and interment was in the City Cemetery.

She is in Findagrave but with an incorrect death year of 1885 instead of the correct 1895. Findagrave, however, does have a copy of the above news item.

Findagrave lists her as:
Birth 29 December 1847 in Germany
Death 8 July 1885
