Here's the information Blue Grass cemetery provided.

Charles F. Stein is buried here in the Blue Grass Cemetery. Dates given on a huge marker near Burnside Lane, in the far east section read: June 27, 1819, died Sept 20, 1899. Buried next to Charles is Augusta Stein, born Aug 28, 1821, died Sep 8, 1857. I have no other information on the Stein family. According to the obit you sent, they were man and wife. "... buried next to his wife." Augusta died 42 years before Charles which would have made him about 38 when she died. Wow! Charles married Eliza (Kendall) Hurst 13 Nov 1852, five years before Augusta died.

The two Hurst stepsons --
Alfred was born 19 Nov 1846, died 25 Mar 1915. Married Sarah Lary 12 Dec 1872. She was born 12 Dec 1851 and died 08 Jul 1917.

William K. was born 22 Nov 1848 and died 1930. He married Augusta Keil/Keele 04 Oct 1876. She was born 1858, died 1943.

Alfred and William are buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, Jackson, Iowa.

Recap -- Charles wife was born 28 Aug 1821 - died 08 Sep 1857. No marriage date found,
Charles was born 1819 - died 20 Sep 1899.

I did not find any additional information on Eliza Kendall Hurst Stein.
