An online search for John Fey, finds one buried at Oakdale, with the following details:

Birth: Feb. 28, 1883
Death: Dec. 17, 1934

Father listed is: William Fey (1858 - 1923).

William Fey, death and birth unknown, burial in Davenport City Cemetery.

Civil War Service Records, Union Records, Iowa (Index Cards) Fey, William JA (Pvt). Co. E, 2 Iowa Cavalry.

Pension Numerical Index, William J.A. Fey, 2 Iowa Cal. 186 749.

There is a Annie Grosjohn Fey, listed as (1859 - 1945) buried at Cowles Cemetery, Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska, USA.

The husband listed is William Fey. The record shows two children, Maud Carolyn Fey Ludman (1888 - 1942) and Wilber Fey (1899 - 1967).

There is a bio for Henry A. Arp on our site that mentions William Fey. Details as follows:

It was subsequent to his arrival in Scott county that he married Miss Caroline Fey, and unto them were born thirteen children, of whom nine are yet living. The mother had come to this county in her girlhood days from Germany with her father, William Fey, who was respected and representative farmer in Davenport township in pioneer times,(transcribed by Debbie Clough Gerischer).
