Good afternoon Christine, I believe you are mixing up two different Myers families. The 1900 Centre co, Pa. has no Robert Spencer Myers born circa 1851 in Will county Il. It does not even appear that this family even left Pa. They are still in 1910 Centre county. Your apprentice blacksmith, 19 y/o Robert Myers is in 1910 Davenport living with his widowed mother, Mattie Lynch. The 1900 Pa census Martha J. Myers nee name would appear to be Rider. The 1925 Ia state census for Robert S.C. Myers would indicate his mother's nee name was Bartell. You might want to review YOUR documented data and work from that. Anyone elses finding are only tools we can use in conducting our own research.
