FINEST MAUSOLEUM IN TOWN

Davenport, May 4th – Work was begun here on what will be the finest mausoleum in the state of Iowa. It is to be built by William Ziegler, the millionaire New Yorker who is backing the Baldwin Polar Expedition. Mr. Ziegler’s parents and stepsister live here, and he recently bought them one of the finest houses in the city, and now proposes to erect for them a mausoleum in Oakdale Cemetery nearly equal in magnificence to the $75,000 structure he has built for himself in Woodlawn Cemetery, New York.
