The Davenport Democrat says that an accident occurred on the Chicago and Rock Island Railroad on Wednesday morning last by which G. W. Kepner, of Davenport, and a man named Downs, of Iowa City, were considerably injured. The accident was occasioned by the breakage by one of the trucks of the sleeping car.
