My brother in law and I have been on a mission to photograph the entrance to every Sac County Cemetery. We have only one (Peyton private) left and we are headed there today. We have looked and looked for Auburn Lutheran. We went to Auburn three times but with no luck. I have called the township clerk, the funeral home in Lake City and the Auburn churches and city hall in Auburn but no one knows of the Auburn Lutheran Cemetery...One man thought it was the old name for the Oaklawn Cemetery and the gentleman at the Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City said in thirty years he has not buried an Aburn area Lutheran anywhere but in Oaklawn. He says the Luckow cemetery has always been called Luckow, so that can't be it. Can you tell me where to find this cemetery? We have photos of every cemetery... we even climbed up the drive and photographed Tom Marks and walked in a couple of cemeteries that have not been mowed for years and years. Please help. We are out of ideas. Thanks.
