Humphrey L. Brattain & Cordelia Ann (Dawson) Brattain are my Great-great Grandparents. They did have 7 children: Harry, James & William (Twins), Ella Gwendoline (Nellie 2/22/1876, Cordelia Mae, Odessa. Cordelia Ann parents James Marion Dawson born 5/9/1818 Shelbyville,KY Died 1839. Marada Broxie Bozarth. I am trying to find out if James DAwson was in the Civil. I have a photo but not sure who it is. I have her parents as Abraham John Bozarth and Mary Garner along with a story of Indians attacking her + children + others 1788-1789
