OBITUARY.

Mrs. Hannah G. WATSON died at her home in this city Monday evening, April 6, 1911, at 4 o'clock. She was a resident of this city for many years,and was well known by all. Mrs. WATSON's maiden name was Hannah G. WADDLE, and she was born in Lafayette, Indiana, in 1828, she being at the time of her death 83 years old. She was united in marriage to G. WATSON in Davis county, Iowa in 1847 and in 1873 they moved to Allerton, Wayne county, Iowa, where they resided until 1885 when they came to Ringgold county. Her husband died in 1896. She raised a family of seven children, five of them being present at the funeral, besides these she leaves one brother, Charles WADDLE of this place, besides her grandchildren.

The children are Lewis WATSON, of Powersville, Mo., J. J. WATSON, of Curlew, Wash., Olivia WALKER, Cameron, Mo., Emma S. ELLISON, of Powersville, Mo., Travetta DePEW, Mount Ayr, Harriet Arvady WELLS, Camron, Mo., and Arizona CONNELLY, of Kansas City.

The funeral service was conducted from the home yesterday at 2 o'clock by Rev. L. C. SWAN and the remains were laid beside the husband in Rose Hill cemetery [Mount Ayr, Iowa].
