OBITUARY - GEORGE B. SEATON.
George B. SEATON, son of Franklin and Lydia E. SEATON, was born at Whitely, Green county, Pennsylvania, October 7, 1862, and departed this life May 28, 1925, being at the time of his death 62 years, seven months and 21 dyas old. He was left motherless by death at the age of three years.
In 1875 he with his father step-mother, brothers and sisters came to Iowa, where the exception of six years in Kansas, he has lived continuously.
He was converted in a Mission in St. Joseph, Mo., about twenty years ago, but never united with any church.
Left to mourn his loss are his sister, Mrs. Annie STEEL, and three brothers, S. H., B. F., and H. K., all of Delphos, Iowa, and numberous other relatives and friends.
The funeral was preached in the Baptist church in Delphos at 10 a. m. Saturday and the interment was at the Forest (sic) Home cemetery, conducted by Rev. Orr CAMPBELL of Humeston, Iowa.
NOTE: George's gravestone gives 1860 as his birth year. Forrest Home Cemetery is also known as Oak Ridge Cemetery. George was the newphew of Franklin M. SEATON.
