IN MEMORIUM.
DIED - At Goshen, on September 13th and 14th, respectively, Ethel and Edna, twin daughters of J. W. and Frances R. FULLER, born Nov. 22nd, 1884. [Interment Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa.]
"Oh, we wept when we heard the sad summons,
That demanded the ones we so loved,
And we wept when the [illegible] twin spires,
By angels were waited above
Little dew drops that gleamed for a season.
In the sun beams of Life's [illegible] morn,
From the tendrils that swayed to soft breezes
They were gathered God's crown to adorn.
Two voices that [illegible] accepts,
On earth shall be heard never more:
But in Cherubum songs and glad anthems,
They rejoice on that radiant shore.
We loved them God spake; and we gave them,
With hearts full of passionate pain.
We love them: God speaks, and ...them
Our little twin callings again.Transcription by Sharon R. BECKER, 2008
