Emily Jane Ryckman Death

I was in Mills County, IA recently, looking for a death record for Emily Jane (Holder) Ryckman, wife of Sylvester Ryckman. I know that she was living with her daughter Laura Aubry when she died in 1914. The obituary says that Emily died at her daughter's. However, we found no record of her death in the county at the courthouse or the library. I have a cousin who is also working on the Holder family, and he says that Emily died in Council Bluffs, IA. Is it possible that she actually died in Council Bluffs? Is there someone there who can do a search for me to find the information. Emily was born in IN in 1844, and died in October of 1914. We do know that they returned her body to Wayne County, IA to be buried with her husband.

The other piece of information we are hoping to find is her mother's maiden name, which will hopefully be on the death record.
