It appears that Ida E. Michener died on September 26, 1939. The source I located was a court case in which her sister, Edna Mann, was the Executrix of Ida's estate in a lawsuit against the Equitable Life Insurance Company which was appealed to the Iowa State Supreme Court. The case:

I located Thomas Michener buried in Garner Cemetery in Council Bluffs. His tombstone is " 1875 - 1953."

It also appears that Ida may have been divorced or widowed. There is a marriage on June 17, 1898 in Hamilton County, Indiana between Ida and a William H. Fletcher. Her parents were listed as Samuel P. Michener and Telithia I. Spann, who were her parents.
