Harrison was son of Jacob, 1805-1868, and Elizabeth (Wentz), 1803-1864 Evans. He worked in a slate factory in Slatington, PA before moving to Iowa. His parents probably were born in Wales. One census says Wales and another says New Jersey.
He had two siblings: David and Susan. David was my great, great, great, grandfather. Harrison and David married Wentz sisters. We still have David's descendants living in the Slatington area. I would enjoy discussing and/or meeting Harrison's descendants in the Midwest.
