1880 US Census shows Jno. and Stenda Paulson family in Minden, Pottawattamie Co., IA. Their children: Herman, Annie, Mary and Henry ages 8 years to 6 months. In 1870 my great-grandfather, Nicholas Paulsen, was living with Jonathan and Stenda in Scott Co., Iowa before their marriages. Nicholas Paulsen married Mary Fahrenkrog in 1871 and then moved with their children in 1886 to Pottawattamie Co, Iowa for one year before moving to Ida Co., Iowa. I would like to know what happened to the Jonathan and Stenda Paulsen family, and how are Jonathan and Nicholas Paulsen related? Jonathan Paulson was born in 1839 and Nicholas Paulsen was born in 1848. Both were born in Holstein, Germany.
