Agatha L. Litle, 90, passed away on October 12, 2011, in Urbandale, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 14, at Westkirk Presbyterian Church, 2700 Colby Woods Drive, Urbandale, Iowa. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, with her husband, Col. Harry S. Litle.
Agatha was born on October 1, 1921, in Johnson County, Iowa, to Bessie (Birka) and Justin North. She attended schools in Riverside and Washington, Iowa. She resided in Arlington, Florida, and later moved to Urbandale in 1997.
She will be missed by her brother, Buddy (Neva) North of Fairfield; daughter, Saundra Salts of Urbandale; step-son, Dr. Gary (Phyllis) Lytle of Dover, Delaware; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 30 years.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in Agatha's name to Wounded Warrior Project at donorservices@woundedwarriorproject.org.
