His Wife Will Not Support Him

Franklin M. Harrison, a prominent farmer near Des Moines, has sued for a divorce from his wife. He alleges cruel and inhuman treatment, and asks for $5,000 alimony. He also charges that his wife defrauded him of a large sum of money. When they were married, he says, she possessed a large amount of incumbered property. She took his money to pay off the claims, but kept the property in her own name. Having obtained all his money, Mr. Harrison says his wife now refuses to support him.
