Dies From Penknife Wound

Des Moines, Ia., Jan. 6. – Tom Bradley, of Marquisville died today at Mercy Hospital of a severe abdominal wound inflicted by a penknife and Beverly Walker, his assailant, is held in the county jail of a charge of murder. The assault took place Christmas Day. Walker claims he was cleaning his fingernails with his penknife when Walker rushed upon him, struck him in the face and on a second effort stumbled and fell against his hand holding the knife. Thus he says the wound was inflicted.
