Funeral services for Mrs. Marvin (Dorothy) Beaver, 58, were held at the West Liberty United Methodist church Nov. 14 with the Rev. Donald Thompson officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery. Mrs. Beaver died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Nov. 10.

The daughter of Howard and Lillian Whitmer, she was born at Wilton Dec. 12, 1929. She married Marvin Beaver in Davenport June 15, 1946.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Larry, West Liberty; 2 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Phyllis) Collins, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Dale (Vickie) Hrovat, Chandler, Ariz.; 4 grandchildren; 5 brothers, Herbert, Moses and Harold Whitmer, Wilton; Donald Whitmer, Maysville and Jim Whitmer, Clearwater, Fla. and a sister, Mrs. Freeman (Ruby) Kaufmann, Wilton. She was preceded in death by a brother.
