Mrs. L. A. Fielman passed away early Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank McKibben, 307 Sycamore Street, Muscatine, after a prolonged illness resulting from senility, being almost eighty years old. Deceased resided for many years in Wapello until about 1908, when she went to Muscatine to reside with her daughter. Susann Williams, daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Hart) Williams, was born in Crawford county, Ind., June 12, 1832, and died Sunday morning in Muscatine at 2 o'clock. Early in life she was united in marriage to William Hugh Alexander, who died leaving on son to survive, E. T. Alexander.

Later she became the wife of J. E. Stoughten, who also preceded her in death. From this union survive Mrs. Fromie M. Frego, of Swedona, Ill, Mrs. Alice McKibben of this city and S. C. Stoughten, of Lynn, Ill and Mrs. Minnie Wickey of Cedar Rapids. Later she was united in marriage to F. Fielman, now dead.

Religiously she was a member of the first Baptist church, she was always regarded as a devout member and follower of that organization. Funeral services were conducted from the home of Mrs. Frank McKibben Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock by the Rev. J. B. Smith, pastor of the First Baptist church. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery.
