Researching Robert Waddell/Waddall/Waddel born 1848/Ireland he served in 1st WI Heavy Artillery and requested pension from this service. He is found in IA with wife Mary Abigail Piper daughter of L. D. & Mary Piper in 1879 and by 1880 they have a son Loren Burton Waddell. By 1900 he is a widower as Mary died 1891 in IA & Robert moves to Everett, WA with his son L. Burton Waddell & wife Clara L. Need to find out where he is buried for our Civil War project. Like to connect with anyone researching this family. His death on 5/13/1929 noted in Sedro Wooley, Skagit Co. WA says parent are John Waddell & Rachel Sanders & he was naturalized in Seattle 1908.
