Pleasantville, June 15 – Last week's Express contained a brief notion of the drowning of Preston Reeves in Montana, a few days previous. Full particulars have reached the family here. It seems that he and a friend were fishing in a small river that empties into the Flat Read Lake, and in attempting to cross the stream in a skiff he was caught in an eddy and drawn underneath the water. His body must have been born down by the swift tide, as it had not been recovered several days afterwards. Mr. Reeves went to Montana a year or two since. His wife is a daughter of R. J. Hicks, living near town.
