Mrs. John Fisher, otherwise known as Mrs. Susan Fisher of Des Moines, died Saturday at the age of 82 years, after an illness of three weeks, at the home of her brother, Elwood Shepherd of Fontanelle. Older residents will remember Mrs. Fisher, who formerly lived in this county in Scott township in the Holliwell bridge neighborhood.

The family left here 25 years ago. She was the grandmother of Mrs. Elmer Young and Mrs. George Barber of this place.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 from St. Andrew’s United Brethren church in Des Moines.
