Age 96 passed away peacefully on Dec. 3, 2020 at her home at Havenwood of Richfield, formerly of Bloomington. Harriett was born in Winterset, IA. Preceded in death by her parents, Verdi Van Den Berg (Hansen) and Otto Van Den Berg; brother, E. Suverns Van Den Berg; and sister, Betty Nere.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 76 years, Curt; daughters, Susan and Malia; son, Lee; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Harriett was a longtime member of Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie.
Due to the pandemic, a formal service will not be held. Private burial at Fort Snelling Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Salvation Army.
