MALTA – Rosalie (St. John) Porter, 78, co-founder of Rosalie’s Bloomers which blossomed into Porter’s Greenhouse, Flower Shop and Nursery, died Sunday of cancer at her home in Malta. Her funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Little White Church in Malta, with burial in Malta Cemetery. Bell Mortuary of Glasgow is handling the arrangements.
Survivors include sons John Michael Porter and Stephen Earl Porter of Colstrip; daughters Susan Kay Fladland of St. Marie and Malta, Kate Lynn Porter of Belt and Sally Carol Pomeroy of Lewistown; a sister, Elaine Brayton of Juneau, Alaska; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Porter, and a granddaughter.
