Clarise Ellen West, born in St. Charles, Iowa on April 19, 1924, passed away on August 11, 2005, after a long illness. Clarise, a long time resident of Chandler and Apache Junction, was preceded in death by her husband, Leo D. West, Arizona rancher and dairyman. The couple also had a summer home at Lakeside.

Clarise is survived by her brother, James Daniel of California, one daughter, Patsy Ellen West of Tucson, three sons, Johnny, Melvin and Brian West, all Phoenix Valley residents, 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service is to be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Mesa, on Friday, August 26, at 10:00 a.m. The family cordially invites all of Clarise and Leo’s friends to attend. Casual attire is suggested and welcomed.
