I don't have specific info on the Hubbards mentioned in the query by Roseanna Zehner, but when my parents eloped in August 1930, they went with their best friends, Lora and Lamont (? I cann't find the newspaper clipping because at the moment a number of our things are packed away.) Hubbard. They were all from Belle Fourche, SD, which is just north of Deadwood. I seem to remember my mother talking about a number of Hubbards in Belle. And the name Lester Hubbard seems familiar. So look in Belle Fourche. My father was from Inwood, Lyon Co, Iowa, and I can't remember if there were Hubbards there, but there may have been.
