Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia “Millie” Moeller, 83, of Rock Rapids were held this afternoon (Monday) at Jongewaard-Roste Funeral chapel here. Burial was in Riverview cemetery.

She died Friday, August 24, at Merrill Pioneer Community hospital in Rock Rapids.

Amelia Hanson was born on November 11, 1900, in Rock Rapids. She attended school here.

After her marriage to Rudolph Moeller, they lived in various locations before returning to this area. She was a resident of Lyon Manor Care Center at the time of her death.

Survivors include three sons, W. Wayne, Rock Rapids, Ralph, Paramus, N.J., and Raymond, Campbell, Calif., seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a sister, Julia Durham, Lemon Grove, Calif. (Source: Lyon County Reporter, Rock Rapids, IA, Mon., Aug 27, 1984, pg. 6)
