Page 8James Edward Keever, son of Jas. L. and Lillian Keever was born at Grandview, Iowa, Jan. 12, 1913 and died in Wapello, Iowa, Oct. 1, 1915, aged 2 years, 8 months and 19 days. Little James was a bright, winsome child whose presence in the home will be sadly missed. All summer the little sufferer has been silently fighting for life, but when autumn came and the leaves began to fall the little spirit took its flight, returning to God the author of all life. The funeral was held from the home conducted by J. R. Hammond, of Wapello. Interment in the Grandview cemetery.
