Tuesday's Hawk-Eye: Mrs. Ida Copeland, wife of Mr. T.C. Copeland of Morning Sun, passed away at half past seven yesterday morning after an illness of short duration. Mrs. Copeland was born in Burlington April 25, 1879, the daughter of Mrs. Dora Hawkins of 1120 Agency street, who survives her. Her girlhood was spent in the city of her birth and she lived here until about twelve years ago when she was united in marriage with Mr. Copeland. Since her marriage she has lived in Morning Sun, where her gracious personality and genuine sincerity won her a warm place in the hearts of all who knew her.

Mrs. Copeland was the Morning Sun correspondent of both the Gazette and the Hawk-Eye of this city and her letters to bother papers were always interesting and entertaining. Her death is mourned by the husband T. C. Copeland, of Morning Sun, the mother, Mrs. Dora Hawkins of this city and a nephew, Wm. Hawkins of Morning Sun. Two brothers, John R. and Frank, residing in California, also survive the death of their sister. The remains will be taken to Morning Sun at 3:30 this afternoon. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
