Page 3Morning Sun News- Herald: Word was received here Wednesday forenoon of the death of John Perkins at his home in Chicago that morning. His brother in law W. H. Hungate, left at one o'clock for Chicago and the remains will be brought to Morning Sun for burial. The funeral services will be held from the Methodist church Friday forenoon at 10:30 and the interment will be in Elmwood cemetery. Mr. Perkins was a resident of Morning Sun for a number of years and a former proprietor of the Hungate hotel.
