Jonathan Holiday, a former well known resident of Columbus Junction, passed away January 3, 1915, in the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, Ind., aged 77 years, after a long illness. He was better known as "Dick" Holiday. The remains were brought to Columbus Junction Tuesday and the funeral was held at the Reformed church in Columbus City, (of which her was a member) that afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. C. E. Ewing. Interment in Columbus City cemetery.
