Harry Schultes, the two and a half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schultes, who live at Toolesboro, was drowned last Saturday morning about 8 o'clock. He was standing on a wagon bridge that crossed a chute that emptied into the Iowa river and in stooping over to gather some foam, fell in. The river had been rising and the current was quite swift. The body was not found until that evening. it had been carried by the current a distance of a quarter of a mile. The funeral was held from the M. E. church in Toolesboro Monday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Jordan, of Oakville.
