Flames at Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, Ia. Feb. 5 – At 1 o’clock a.m. fire was discovered in the large barns owned by J. S. Porter. The flames spread so rapidly that it was impossible to save anything in them, and thirty head of cattle perished along with all his diary supplies. The loss is unknown.
