JACOBS, BOICOURT, BREACH

Seeking information on Daniel JACOBS, age 71, Denmark Twp. Believe him to be father of Daniel JACOBS who married Emily Breach on 5 Apr. 1862 in Lee Co., also of John JACOBS, age 49, in 1860 in Lee Co. All three men were born in New York.

Believe that Daniel Sr. moved to Jefferson County Ind., around 1837, and left the area after 1847. John, who married Elizabeth BOICOURT, in Jefferson County, lived on the Jefferson/Jennings Co. border. Daniel Jr. served in the Mexican War from Indiana. Do not know the name of Daniel Sr's first wife. He married 2nd Mary Hughes, widow of Evan Griffiths, and they apparently separated by 1847 and probably divorced as she married again in 1851.
