Thank you for doing this research. I had located both census records you refer to. The 1910 census is definitely my Edward Henry Rush. The 1930 census is likely him as well. Richard Rush is one of his sons, my grandfather. Edward left his family sometime after 1912 (when another son William was born in St. Joseph, MO) and before 1920. I know very little else about him. I know he was born in Primrose, IA in about 1880 from Richard and William's birth certificates. The state has no record of birth and I cannot find anything locally so I am somewhat stymied. Any suggestions welcome!
