John Henry Wipke, b. Feb 1817 Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, to St. Louis, MO in 1841, to Fort Madison, Lee Co., Iowa in 1843. Married Elizabeth. Had at least 2 children, Henry (m. Elizabeth Stohlmeyer) and Dena (m. Henry Brink).
Henry & Elizabeth (Stohlmeyer) Whipka removed to Davenport, Scott Co., Iowa. Had son August Frank Whipka (among others), b. 1889, m. Anna Marcella O'Neill.
I'd like to correspond with any descendants of the Wipke/Whipka family.
