Mrs. R.B. Collins, aged forty-six years, two months and seventeen days, died at the family home, No. 1416 Morgan street, Saturday afternoon, at 3:15 o'clock, of consumption. Deceased's maiden name was Thankful McGregor, and she and Mr. Collins were married twenty-seven years ago. For several years they lived near Summitville, Iowa. They moved to Keokuk last fall. She is survived by her husband and eleven children. The funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Swedish Mission church, corner fourteenth and Morgan streets, after which the remains were interred in the Hickory Grove Cemetery near Summitville.

Richard B. Collins was first married to a Margaret Vanarsdall, my Great Aunt. They were the parents of one son, Samuel. Samuel attended the Keokuk College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Samuel Collins is buried in the Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, Lee Co., Iowa.

I don't know the parents of Thankful but do know she was from Nauvoo, Illinois.
