On the 1850 census of Lee County, John SCHOOLEY is listed as the "sup of the Poor Farm". Was he in charge of the Poor Farm? John SCHOOLEY and family are listed there as well as his mother Ruth SCHOOLEY. Is there any records on this? Thank You.
