I have checked what cemetery listings I have for West Point Township and I did not find your ancestors. However, there is a Catholic cemetery in West Point, Iowa for which I do not have a listing.

Listed in the 1868 Lee Co., Iowa Gazetteer directory--

Joseph Applebamm, farmer, Jefferson (Twp), re (real estate) pp (personal property), Ft. Madison.

The 1874 plat map for Jefferson Twp. shows a J. Applebaum with property in section 13.

It could be that Joseph is buried in one of many cemeteries in the city of Ft. Madison. Rashid Library, 3421 Ave L, Ft. Madison, Iowa (319) 372-2071 would have those listings.

There is a Jessie Applebaum, June 23, 1835, Sept 4, 1917 buried in the Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, Lee Co., Iowa. Any connections?
