Orville Buck, near Sawyer, aged 15, was drowned in the Mississippi.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows his name spelled Orvill. He was born April 16, 1898 and died Aug. 4, 1916. (This does not agree with the above age.) He is buried in Oakland Cemetery.
