Dies; Rites Held Saturday

Grace Viola Turner, 75, died at University Hospital in Iowa City on Thursday, April 22.

Funeral services were held in the McCullough Funeral Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Raymond Russell officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery, the McCullough Funeral Service in charge.

Pallbearers were Jerry De Kruif, Robbie Apple, David De Kruif, Erby Shipler, Richard Apple and Zane Dodds.

Mrs, Turner was born June 6, 1895 at Algona, daughter of William and Nancy Ward Dodds. She attended the Algona public schools and was married to Floyd Turner on August 1, 1913, at Algona. She and her husband had lived their entire married life in Algona. Mr. Turner died in March of 1965.

Mrs. Turner is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Marjorie Apple and Mrs. Ruby Walton both of Des Moines and Pauline, Mrs. Cornie De Kruif, of Sheldon. There are five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Turner was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Women of the Moose.
