This book has listings for cemeteries in the What Cheer area. I found, in Sixteen Cemetery: Lidia Gibbons, d.Oct 7, 1887, age 75 years 7 months 3 days; Homer Gibbons, 1833-1887; Ann Gibbons 1832-1916. They are in Row 17. You might check with the Keokuk County Historical Society in Sigourney. They have a large file of obits for the area. They are located on the corner of East and Elm Streets. Address: Box 123, Sigourney, Iowa 52591. Phone:641-622-3005. They are open on Wednesday and Thursday. Sixteen cemetery is on Highway 21 about 3 1/2 miles north of What Cheer. Hope this helps.
